Handy Scanner
Another nice app for your Android tablet if you need to scan something. This came in handy for me. Had to send a signed document back. Ran copy of document from computer and signed it. Using this app scaned document using Android tablet and emailed back .

Stay updated across your devices.
Here are two apps that work well in transferring documents and other file between devices. I take a lot of pictures when we travel. Multi-stop Navigation on Android with Google Maps
Motorcycle riders plan day rides over specific roads with multiple Waypoints(stops). I use a Garmin GPS. Other rider friends of mine want to use their Android (or iPhone) with Google Maps.

Old Nextels Motorola Titanium For Walkie Talkies And GPS
I am considering buying a couple of used Nextel Motorola Titaniums. Since Nextels iDen network is shutting down later this year, the old units are cheap and will work fine as off-network walkie talkies on Direct Talk simplex. They will also work as portables GPS navigators with on board maps like Tom Tom for Android, Co-Pilot, etc.

POI Factory Red Light/Speed Camera POI's adding to Google Navigation?
I find the mobile navigation utility that comes with my Droid's Google Maps app to be reliable, accurate, and very convenient. The fact that my mapping/direction search history and favorite places is all on one account that syncs between my desktop, my laptop and my Smartphone, makes it even more convenient.

POI Files and Free Android Map Programs
I'm experimenting with using an Android phone with NO cell service as a dedicated combination GPS and dashboard camera. Because it has no cell service tied to it I can't download maps via mobile data (and you can't count on WiFi on the highway).
This means that I need an Android GPS app that downloads the complete maps to the phone's SD card.
