POI projects

I saw someone had one for the DFW area, any for PHX?

Preferably in the .csv or .ov2 format!

I know we have a lot of the chain hamburger places but some of the best are from little greasy spoon mom and pop places. I would like to see a project of a collection of the best burger joints we have found. I'm specially intersted in AZ and So Cal. and So NV as we take motorcycle trips just to go for burgers.

Are they any POI's for Napa Valley for Restaurants/Wineries/Bed and Breakfast's.

I dont know about you guys, but sometimes when I am going to a(n important) place that I need to get to on time (ie, court, doctor's office, etc) i check out google maps to give me an idea of what the buiding/location would look like. it's probably a better help for those who FLY as opposed to driving.

As a resident and new GPS owner, I have just begun an attempt at a Las Vegas project. Starting with the tourism side and working my way toward "locals" efforts.

I just uploaded a major update of LV Hotel/Casinos. I've also uploaded Shopping, Attractions (in and outside the immediate area) and Movie Theaters.

Any suggestions?

My Wife is Gluten free (Celiac Disease) and it's always a challange to find restaurants while traveling or even at home. I am going to try to build one, but thought I would find out if there is anyone else would have an interest.

While travelling, my family likes to visit Old West sites such as Tombstone, Boot Hill, and other outlaw graves and such. Do any of you have a POI list for this type of thing?

I have downloaded some POIs in my Nuvi 260W. I added the harley POI's and they were there under my extras. After I installed my Red Light Cameras the harley ones were gone and the cameras were there. Is there anyway to sort these by folders or can I only have one at a time?

I downloaded the POI files for Virginia and Maryland. Virginia converted using PoiEdit, but the Maryland file would not. I got this error message: 'Panera - Forest Drive' is not a valid floating point value. Any thoughts?

Would love to help create a full list of all of the State Parks of the USA! any takers!

I just joined and used the info here to create and upload a new POI file. It's a listing of all the preserves in the Thousand Trails-Naco-Leisure Time Resorts family based on the latest data in the membership directory. I hope this helps other TTNLTR members.

I have a Garmin 660. I downloaded the Washington DC attractions POI. I loaded them and 52 out of the 137 POI's show up in the extras. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Is their a limit per folder? I used POI Loader. When it was done loading It said it loaded the correct quantity.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just downloaded the Red Light and Speed Camera POI's and I don't understand one of the bits of information in them. Here's a Red Light item:

-83.56725,41.63077,"Red Light Camera .01w2c","Toledo"

What does the ".01w2c" in the name field mean?

Same question re: the Speed Camera POI:

-81.7593,41.4857,"Speed Camera .0245b","Cleveland"

What does the ".0245b" mean?

i used my excell sheet with addresses & paste it into this program:

this will generate several columns when changed text to columns
i then came accross this formula that will allow you to consolidate information from col C with col d & col e & col f

Downloaded and installed the ATM locations for B Of A ATMS.

Its missing so many (ie like all the ones in Albertsons)

What would we have to do to complete this file? Do you think B of A would give us a lits of all locations?

It would be so handy to do it for CA and the other states as well!

BUT, it's about accuracy and not quantity.

We just got back from a recent trip and attempted to use many POI files. It was a big mess.
