Another Program to create POI files

New York City Residents

I am compiling a list of speed traps/red light cameras in the Brooklyn Area. If you have any please let me know so I can combine them together. Thanks

Have you checked?

Have you looked at the file here to make sure they aren't already there?

With 201 locations for greater NYC included, I'd be surprised if there are cameras not listed.

I would suggest that those ought to be two separate lists. POI Factory maintains a file of Red Light Cameras and another of Speed Light Cameras. A list of speed trap locations in Brooklyn is certainly a useful addition. I certainly know of a couple of spots: one on the Prospect Expressway just after one gets onto it going north from the roundabout at the end of Parkside Avenue and another on the Belt Pkwy heading east just after the VZ Bridge.

go ahead and make your own

go ahead and make your own speed trap files for your area;) I will publish those as I would any other files. My job is to manage the cameras that are fixed to poles and are not going anywhere down the road where I might get confused trying to keep up.
