Greetings Everyone!

This discussion group is for the Fishing Piers in the US (CSV Format) POI project file. Please report any coordinate/address corrections and or updates, closings, etc. Also, feel free to provide comments about the POI. You may also email any changes directly to the Project Lead (which currently is me).

San Luis Pass Pier

Was destroyed by Hurricane Ike and is not being replaced. The land where it stood is all gone now.

There are several piers in the Galveston area that survived or have been rebuilt.

I updated the POI

I updated the POI to note that San Luis Pass Pier was destroyed by Hurricane Ike and is not being replaced. The land where it stood is all gone now.

I added Buckroe Fishing Pier and James River Bridge Fishing Pier to the POI.
