Problem with file - 136614 Combined US Campgrounds (GPX) by rivopom

Two problems with this file:

First off, the name has 136614 instead of just 13661 which implies many more locations that should exist according to the file description. The actual downloaded .gpx file has the correct name.

Secondly, this file fails to load into GSAK. I get an error stating: "This file does not pass XML validation and will be ignored"

.csv file also has issue

I checked the .csv version of this file and I also get an error with that one when opening it in Excel. The error is: "Compile error in hidden module: DistMon"

NOTE: This is a Visual Basic error box

I have no problem opening the csv file in excel.
I have no issue opening the gpx file in EPE. I do not use gzak so I can not speak of that.

Combined Campgrounds

I successfully opened the .csv file with no issues. Also ran on my Garmin 1450 with no problems. Running Windows 7 Vista, 64 bit, MS-Office 2007 Excel.

OK with my old Gateway with XP

Don't sweat the 136614. The '4' must be a typo.

Both files open fine for me with Excel & EPE.

No idea what GSAK is.

It means Geocache swiss army knife. I don't know if it would open the file on camping.

GSAK

GSAK is designed to open .gpx files. I've used it for years.

makes me wonder

It makes me wonder what versions of the software are you running and on what platform.

I haven't taken a look at the file, but if others are reporting it opening with no errors, it would appear to me it may be an incompatibility between the version of GSAK and your operating system vice the others.
