POI projects

Hi,

Has anyone already created a rustic roads for Wisconsin?

Back last weekend, I submitted a POI project called Cherohala Skyway under scenic drives... the project page was presented... back to me to view.
But it has not shown up on "My Account" or I fail to see it listed under "attractions scenic drives"

I am the maintainer of this file and have been receiving several emails about the Luling-TC location showing to be 4 miles away when passing it on I10 West (it is located on the east bound feeder road side of I10 (south of I10).

What is the policy regarding Orphan (outdated) POI projects? I have seen projects last updated 2, 3, or even 4 years ago.

Should they be removed?

It would be cool to have where all the Verizon stores are in the different states. That way when you are on the road travelling, and have a issue with your cell phone, you know where they are to get it fixed. Same thing could go for AT&T and T Mobile.

Just submitted my on going project of the Blue Ridge Parkway, use BaseCamp and files and POI from several collections..

One Folder: Blue Ridge Parkway
7 List containing 346 waypoints and 8 routes

GlobeTurtle has graciously agreed to pass ownership of the Iowa Cemetery file to me, (it was previously owned by POI-Factory), along with the Illinois and Kansas Cemetery

I hope this is the right place for this and I hope it goes off on a different tangent than the "Favorite POI" thread.

I have an incredible amount of geocoded information and much of it is begging to be published. That said, much of it needs to be munged to make it ready for prime time, so there is work involved.

As I'm busy adding more hiking trailheads to my POI listing, I had two other project suggestions for anyone who wants to follow up on them.

First, a bicycle trailhead listing. This would be only those paved trails that are meant for bicycles. (Yes, searching mine would be a start, but it would make sense for someone else -- a biker -- to maintain that list.)

The most current version of WalMart (csv & gpx) when opened in Extra POI Editor and then saved as KML file. When opening in Google Earth error message reports "failed parse error line 4...".
(All other files work fine.) Previous version worked fine.

I'm going to be busy accumulated and posting Florida Trail Heads, so I won't have time to do this. However, I had project idea if you're looking for something to take on.

This assumes you don't want to do another state's trailheads. It would be cool if you did, but given the numerous data sources you'd need to look at, I can understand why this might be a bit much.

I've just uploaded a first draft of a Florida Trailheads POI file. (It should show up in a couple of days after the administrator decide that it's OK.) Right now it's primarily a Central Florida database.

However, I'd like to grow it to cover the entire state. But it will take a while.

after doing some research and trying to upload it on my nuvi 3590 i cant see any of the overlays or POI.. can someone please give me some helo.

We are taking a cruse from Galveston Tx to Progeso Then Cozumel Mexico. Does anyone have a POI file with shipwrecks in that area or other poi

I have been running this program for some time with no problems (on Win7). It now freezes and I get "Run-time error 5:Invalid procedure call or argument". Can anyone help me?
