I have done some ATVing recently and I am just curious what the longest trip other members here have made away from the roadway with a GPS? How helpful was the GPS? Did you stay on a trail or river? I have gone probably 100 miles or more on an ATV trail and having my Garmin Nuvifone G60 along was very helpful.

has anyone used of this? on sd card, tells you of road hazards. school zones, speed traps, etc. do you like it? if you remove the card does it stay on your unit?

This week we are recognizing WAASup. You don't say much but when you do it is great info that is very helpful to many.

I've been a long time GPS user. My first GPS was a Deluo serial unit that hooked to a Dell Axim x5. I ran Mapopolis on that unit until they finally pulled the plug on it. After that I got a Lowrance 350c which I used for many years until the plug was pulled on updates for it also! Tough to keep a unit around that is missing sections of major highways in a metropolitan area!

Hi just wanted to say when I first purchased the unit the phonebook did not appear in the bluetooth menu, I tried several times and was about to give up when it worked, so just keep trying. BOL.

Under 18, no cell phone use - over 18, no texting while driving.

Armstrongs Restaurant located in the Caste Village Shopping Center in Castle Shannon used to be one of my favorite spots for a family dinner. However, for reasons I can not explain, the quality of the food and service has gotten progressively worse over the past couple of years. I can understand the rise in menu prices, that is to be expected.

I have a Garmin nuvi 360.....its time for a new one! I'm open to any brand. What's good? What do you have and why do you like it? Would you recommend it?

Good idea or a violation of rights?
It may be not new technology , but it is to Northeast Ohio.

I bet it will be challenged in court, and should be!

Just got back from this trip. I purchased the Nuvi 1450 so I could enter a Rout that allowed me to bypass the traffic around Washington, DC and Baltimore. I had to pick up my daughter in Front Royal, VA so that was the starting point for my Routing around Metro DC and Baltimore. From Front Royal, I set up a route to Berryville, VA, Frederick, MD and then to Annapolis, MD.

Traffic Ticket Fines (Effective 01/06/2010)

VC 12814.6 $214 Failure to obey license provisions.

VC 14600(A) $214 Failure to notify DMV of address change within 10 days
Note: The fine may be reduced
with valid proof of correction.
