How can I send maps/ Address from mapquest and google map to garmin NUvi775t

New to the site!

Just downloaded the POI's for bigfoot sightings! Can't wait to check out on my Garmin Venture HC! Just happened on this site by luck looks great! Any help on loading poi's to gps would be great!

Thank you

Just want to give a big thank you to this website and community. I've never owned a GPS, so when my dad wanted my help picking one and setting it up I had to get a 'crash course' in GPS info. This site's POI listings, FAQ's and the forum community we're extremely valuable.

Roadtrip from Phoenix to Yellowstone

We only have 9 days for our roadtrip from Phoenix, AZ to Yellowstone. We're leaving July 18 and have to be back by the 26th. This is our first ever roadtrip and we have 3 kids ages 13, 11 and 3 and we're taking our Sienna minivan (that means we need to stop in hotels to sleep).

Limiting downloads (how to erase specific POI locations)

When I downloaded "Rest Areas - Combined" I got all 2150 locations. How can I delete the ones I do not want before downloading to my Garmin? Or once downloaded, how can I erase specific ones from a Garmin 1390T?

Nuvi 350 mp3 upload

I purchased the red light alerts and wish to use the use the Emily mp3. I have communicator and POI loader, I am able to load the POI files but not the mp3's (although I can drag it over into the mp3 section). Any suggestions on getting Emily to speak the alerts? Thanks

Report: Many Detroit-area speed limits are set at 'illegally' low levels

The reality is that most drivers move along at what they consider to be a safe speed for the conditions regardless of the posted limit. To minimize accidents, the limit should therefore be the speed at which 85 percent of the drivers are moving.

In 2006, the Michigan legislature passed a law requiring speed limits to be set based on such traffic studies.

Hello from Carroll County MD.

I am new to this site and to GPS. I recently bought a Gramin nuvi 205 and used it getting to/from Warren Pa. It worked very well, though it didn't take me the way I would have necessarily gone.

French Language used to announce numbered street names on a navigator set for English

Let me start by saying that I am in Montreal, Quebec.

And no, I'm not discussing the basic prompting that the navigator does (which is set to English), but rather the TTS street names . . .
