gStart Question

I need help with the gStart function. I have a Nuvi 660 and downloaded the red light cameras last spring, but I have never been able to use the gStart feature from my desktop. I have searched the Garmin site without any luck. I always get a warning that there is NO GPS connected to the desktop. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks
P.S. Is is possible to just update new red light locations without getting all the old one too??

gStart is for older Garmin

gStart is for older Garmin GPS models that don't use the Mass Storage Device. gStart is worthless for all Nuvis. When you connect your Nuvi to your computer via usb the Mass Storage Driver is used so the Nuvi looks like a removable hard drive to the computer OS.

You will need the POI Loader (see the POI factory FAQ) from Garmin to load any POI including the redlight locations.

The red light camera database is an ongoing appended list, therefore there are no "old ones." When you use the POI Loader to load the database all your previous locations will be overwritten.
