Software updated version on Nuvi 360

I just bought another Nuvi 360 and it had software version 4.2. The 2 months old 360 that I had, had software version 3.9. I checked on the Garmin website and the latest software version is 3.9. What is going on here?

There's quite a few Garmin firmware lists that have numbers missing. I reckon this is their way of testing major new releases
ie a limited rollout.
Did it come with the GUPDATE.GCD file - i.e. the loader for it?
I had a conversation with a guy in a similar position with a StreetPilot C510. That came with V5.8, which never appeared on the Garmin website. In his case, they didn't supply the GUPDATE.GCD either.

I will check to see the GUPDATE.GCD file when I get home and will let you know.

Usually those types of firmware numbers are used by Garmin to mark production changes. There is no functionality change for the user.
