Circuit City & Customer Comments

ALERT: Circuit City will seems to "filter" the less than positive comments left about the new 7xx series Garmin. Beware. Amazon on the other hand does post the less than positive comments.

Another Customer Circuit City LOST forever...

After cheating me out of a $100 rebate and being unresponsive to proof that I qualified and had provided the required paperwork on time -- I vowed NEVER to shop there again.

Circuit City

I almost never go there simply because it is too far from my place. I purchased the 760 because they were the only people who had it at the time. A friend of my told me he would never go there again (don't know why). After the last purchase with their return policy crap, I seriously doubt I will every go there again.

no problem here

I haven't experienced problems with CC. I have with CompUSA. It's a problem with all large companies - when they don't care to use the proper employee screening, we get sloppy, no-care service.

the employees at best buy,

the employees at best buy, circuit city, compuplus, etc. have no idea what the hell they are talking about when it comes to gps units. they are usually full of it, and circuit city does get commission if i remember correctly- so they're going to tell you anything to get a sale. those companies suck when it comes to trying to find real information about a specific product. and again, it's a bunch of kids working there- go figure right?

Only What's Expected

I am not a uniounist but have not stepped into a CC since last year when they "laid off" all their most senior employees and replaced them with new hires at much lower salaries. They did allow the old employees to reapply for their old jobs, after 6 weeks and at entry level pay. If they cared so little for their employees loyalty they certainly don't care about their customers.
