With no issues. Just got my computer back from the repair shop after having a new hard drive installed. Runs like a scared jackrabbit now.

Release notes [pretty sparse but if you were affected by what was just fixed, you'll be happy]

PC

-Fixed an issue with Express displaying an empty page under Manage Maps.

Also, and always a good idea after a software install or update, reboot. I run the MemInfo utility (in the tray) that reports memory usage. It normally reports about 4 to 5 GB of RAM being utilized but after the Garmin Express update it was just short of 16GB usage, even though GE had been shut down. A reboot brought it back to the normal 4 GB.

Why do you need to uncheck running in background? I have not see any problems with it running.
