Open Garmin Express, then click in the TOOL in the upper right corner. Then ABOUT, then is your installed version and right click in CHECK FOR UPDATES TO EXPRESS.

2689 --- just added POI's (Including Sox.exe) Works... But where are they?
I'm successful in converting MP3's to WAV's, and uploaded our favorite POI's in the new 2689...
In 660 I could could search for them and display them, select them, and have them become a destination.....
Can I do this on the 2689??? I can't seem to find them in the menus...

Garmin Nuvi Rugged Case
Has anybody ever seen any rugged cases for the Garmin Nuvi 3597? I know that there are cases for traveling like this http://tinyurl.com/k5gxzn4 , but I am interested in one that would protect the GPS and allow it to be used at the same time.

custom POI multiple voice warnings
hi all...
I've installed the PGPSW speed cameras on my Zumo 390 and, after finally figuring out how to make the custom warnings work, it's giving multiple warnings of a camera and even when I've passed the camera.

Replacement for Nuvi 3790T? Does Garmin have any new flagship products coming.
My faithful Nuvi 3790T finally but the dust after 5 trouble-free years (touchscreen went belly-up).
I'm looking to replace it but I'm not liking the 2015 models they have so far. I don't like the cheap plastic construction and the non-powered mounts. I think the 3790 spoiled me.

How to Power a Nuvi 660 off of USB port (Run GPS, insead of PC Mode)
I borrowed two Garmin power supplies and tested the mini USB pinouts for conductivity between USB Mini Pins 4 & 5.
I Tested the following supplies and they boot the Nuvi 660 into GPS Mode instead of PC Mode:
Garmin AC Supply 362-000283-3 Boots 660 to GPS Mode. 2.0A
Pin4-5 Shorted.
Garmin DC Supply GTM-36 Boots 660 to GPS Mode. 2.1A
Pin 4-5 Shorted..

TurboCCC has updated POI Editor
Saw this on another site. POI Editor was updated to beta V5.95 (3-2-15).

GPS units with rearview backup camera?
Well, I have not replaced my aging Garmin unit yet.
But I have been noticing some units with a backup camera.
I looked briefly and the units I found were seemingly intended for an RV, which makes sense, I used to have an RV and a backup camera was very helpful.

Call Button feature with Custom POI's loaded to the Chrysler Media Center 430N?
Has anyone found a way around this? The pre-loaded POIs do allow one to call the phone number via Bluetooth.

no voice commands
Hello all,
I must have botched my map update, I get this "This feature is not available for the United States" when I try voice command.I reinstalled the map but no joy. Any help, please.

New Garmin (update, backup, register, etc.)

Tried to register it.. and it says I have to do it via garmin express.. 3.2.29.0 is what I was directed to..
It wouldn't do anything until I connected unit to it...
It's doing a firmware and Map (No, 2015.30)

What 7" Garmin would you buy, and why?
Wife says maybe we should consider a new a New Garmin.
I'm not certain...
We'd want 7" unit... I would assume Lifetime Maps and Traffic...
What is your preferences?
(This does not mean I am giving up on 660)

Don't think it was WAAS.... 660 Lost it's mind
Inside house, with antenna not up, powered up 660 and added a new favorite...
Was going to have it tell me how long to get to this new destination, but then I found out I had shut down 660 far from home, so it would have to find home first.
So went outside, raised the antenna, and while it was awaiting satellite reception, it flat out died!!!

Garmin Lifetime Maps Terms & Conditions Has Once Again Changed
They replaced the map update phrase from up to 4 times per year to "you will receive map data updates when and as such updates are made available"

67LTM Voice
My grandson was trying to free up space on my 67LTM and he lost all the voice files. Anyone know where I can find the replacements. He did do a backup but the voice files was no included.

Red Light Camera file: Ease Of Use and Accuracy
This is my first post. Thinking of installing the POI-Factory Red Light Camera file on my Garmin nuvi 52 GPS device that I received as a gift. This is my first GPS device and I am not sure if the Red Light file is worth installing. Does it work well, is it easy to use, is it accurate, etc.? I live in Nassau County, Long Island, New York and would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
