Garmin talk

Hi,
I just ordered the Garmin Nuvi 760,and would like to know which poi files work with this unit.(gpx or csv)
I couldn't find this info on Garmins site.

Im starting to have trouble with my Cigarette Plug Adpt for the 660. When I plug it in it works just fine, but as I drive the plug will loose power. I checked the Lighter it works ok with other items. How long is the warranty. Anybody else have this problem..

Sorry I have not been around for awhile...hectic summer (but have been using my Garmin 660 throughout!).

Has anyone experienced any unusual problems after the two most recent software updates? I am now at version 4.5. I have found the following:

1. Seems to take longer to find satellites after turning the unit on.

Is there anyway to turn off the feature that shows airport names on the 2720???? I've played with all the settings I can find and haven't run across it yet??

Really don't need to see all the airports with names.

Does anyone have an Authoritative FAQ on how to do most common user add ons with this series?

Looking for POI editing and additions, Memory card expansion and application updates, upgrades.

I having problems with the touch screen of my c330. If I touch on screen it select wrong selection. I have calibrated it many times but it loses it again. It works well right after calibration but when I try next day, same problem.

I will appreciate your help if you have experienced same problem.

Is there a way on the 660 that I can add poi's without deleting the poi's I have in there already ?

Maybe just me, but is there a way to manually set a timezone other than the few pre-defined cities that come with the unit?

I've used other nav units and have found by starting an address search zip codes narrowed my search quite a bit, can Garmin's do this or does anyone know why they don't include them beside "State"?

I've got a nuvi 205w. I just got it and started playing around
with it. I discovered that it plots your course in the
Garmn/GPX/Current.GPX file. I'm not sure how large that file
will get... I just reset it the other day and now I have

HI! Everyone, First off I'd just like to say that the help here is fantastic.. I have been playing around with the voices on my Nuvi and kinda fell in love with karen.. tho karen doesn't seem to have as big of lungs as Jill does... Jill is always nice and loud. Where's karen sometimes seems to be whispering.. is there anyway to increase the volume output of the voice files?

Hello, I'm new at this POI thing. I downloaded a POI file on my Nuvi 350 using the POI loader. There was a dialog box congratulating me on the success of the download to the Garmin. However, I can't find the file. The manual says that it should be under "my locations", but it's not there. What am I doing wrong?

I would like to have your opinion on this :

I'm on the road, listening to the MP3 songs from SD Card of my Garmin Nuivi 660.

If i go thrue a zone where i have an alert listed, the music stop, i hear the correct MP3 personal alert from my POI, and then the music start to play BUT not where it has been stopped but at the beggining of the song(re-start the song).

I used an iGuidance with my PDA and it had a neat feature called Speed Alert, it beeped when you went over the roads speed limit. I assume that the Nuvi has knowledge of the speed limits which is probably used to calculate the ETA time. Can I load something on it to give me a speed alert?

I recently got a Nuvi 200 last week. I used it in New Jersey area and now in Toronto, Canada. We have the 401 highway (and some other highways) were there are Express lanes and Collector lanes. I know I have chosen Faster route as the navigation option. However, I find that the Nuvi always takes me through the Collector lanes.
