Greetings All,

This is my first post.

I recently downloaded the POI loader for my Zumo 550. I also downloaded the rest area POI's from this site. I then downloaded the data to my Zumo.

However, I don't know how to know for sure if they're installed. What I tried to do was to zoom to an area where I knew there was a rest area to see if it was on the map. It wasn't.

Map freezes while navigating with the GTM-20 attached.
If I navigate the same routes on battery power, no problem. If I attach the GTM-20 at home using AC adapter, and simulate navigation, no problem.

I won a Street Pilot C340. While driving my Garmin will say a "better route is available". Why does it do this and what can I do?

I have a Nuvi 780 and it seems like it takes the MSN direct reciever forever to load the gas stations names and addresses when I look them up on my GPS. I have the MSN Direct subscription. I was wondering does anyone else have this same problem.

I bought a Nuvi 260 and it didn't come with any CDs. Can someone help me get started on creating a map and uploading it? I will be in Kathmandu for the next few months and ideally I would like to scan or download a map for the city and upload it to the unit (if that's possible). Is this the right approach? Thanks for any help.

All of the sudden when I turn on my Nuvi 660 it won't connect to any satellites. I called Garmin and they weren't much help. The unit is out of warranty so if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this please let me know.

When I installed it a couple months ago I noticed the announcements for turns would be too late. I saw other models with different fw report the same thing. I tried going at slower speeds but it still persists. So I downgraded the fw. Anyone have the same issue?

is there any way to set the POI files for warning 0.3 miles from the camera on the 60CSX regardless of speed ??
Also does the POI count towards the 500 favorites waypoint totals on the 60csx ??

Will be travelling from Chicago to AStlanta. Does the street pilot show rest stops and fuel locations on its map?

i have just paid for and loaded 2009 map source on my 2610 about 3 weeks ago.i bought another 2610 recently.can i somehow use the same updates on the other one without paying again?

I just recently installed Garmin's 2009 map update on my Nuvi 350. The detail on the map at highest setting looks better, but it seems that the unit is a bit more sluggish to respond / update screen while driving. Anyone else notice this?

Is there a way to upgrade the base maps in Bobcat using the pre-loaded maps on my 780?

I don't have access to a PC anymore and cannot use that route to upgrade them.

I don't see why it wouldn't be, but I was wondering if the mph data is accurate on the Nuvi 660.

In my car, my speedo consistenly reads 3 mph higher. Actually, we have two cars, and it's on the first car where it's 3 mph higher. The 2nd one it's about 0-1 mph higher, i.e. speedo reads higher than GPS.

I live on the East Coast and will be travelling to the West Coast to attend a wedding. I'd like to program my GPS to take me from John Wayne airport to the Hotel and to the Grooms house and then to Burbank airport. I have fiddled with Map Source and am totally flummoxed as to how to set this up.

I've recently noticed that while I'm driving, the screen on my Nuvi 200 updates about 2-3 seconds behind my actual position. That is, if I pass a certain side street, the vehicle icon on the screen isn't shown arriving at that street for another 2 seconds or a little more.

I just bought myself a Garmin 670. I am going to Florida in October and wondering, what would be the most important POIs to be installed on the 670.

By the way, what do you think would be the best places for breakfast with the family in the St. Pete Area?
