Hello I got My Nuvi 250 like 3 weeks ago and I notice that when Colormode is in nighttime and my map setting is set at most detail the map flickers from time to time is this normal I suppose not but just asking if I put less map detail it's ok

OK, now here's another question....Fastest or Shortest?

It seems to me the Fastest setting runs on an algorhythm that looks for maximum travel speed, not necessarily the fastest way to your destination.

When I load my sd card with my mp3 files it also put's jpeg photos in the photo viewer on my Nuvi. I guess it is picking the information off the mp3 file.
Is there any way to make the computer show these files,
when you look at the mp3 file?

I just got a C550 and want to be able to view the POI's on my map as I am driving. Thusfar, the only icons that show up are the flag for my home address and the specific addresses which I added into my favorites. I want to be able to view gas stations, starbucks, whatever...on my map as I am driving.

hey i sent miss poi a email asking about uploading tour guides i made and since then have had three truckers call me and ask me where they can get the guides i was wondering if someone else could help me since truckers are not always home for long

Just got my Nuvi 360 and uploaded the 2009 map. Does this upload replace the 2008 map or add it. And if it adds it, do I need to somehow delete the old one? And if I need to delete the old one, how do I do that.

Just moved to Washington State. With my Nuvi 680 as well. Navigated to a store in "Bellingham, WA" and Australian Karen announces, "arriving Bellingham, Western Australia." Thought I heard wrongly. My son says "Western Australia?"
Anyone had this experience with "Karen"?

Hi - Please bear with me, I'm a GPS newbie. I have a Garmin 750 and just loaded the Staples locations POI file using the POI Loader. I got a successful message that it transferred over, however when I go into Point of Interests and do a search for staples, I don't see them. Since I've never done this before I'm just assuming that it should show up there, right?

What is the best way to learn how to use MapSource on my PC?

Is there a way to erase base maps on the 760? I updated to the 2009 maps but then I used Bobcat to make a route and allowed it to install maps that correspond with the route...didn't need to and now it take longer to boot up. I want to erase the maps and just reinstall the 2009 maps unless there is a separate file I can delete that has that basemap I installed from Bobcat.

I just received my Garmin C550. When plugging it to my computer in the USB port, a picture of a computer showed up on the C550 screen and I was able to see the C550 as a drive on my PC.

Just got back from a weekend in Cincinnati. The Chili Restaurants POI file has several errors. The first two places I went to did not exist. The next two had been torn down, never to be replaced. Finally found one, forty miles from where I started, so I finally got my chili.

I am getting ready to go on a cruise that will be in several countries. I would love to use my nuvi 350 when buying stuff to have a general idea of how much money I am really spending. I am having problems updating my nuvi. Can anyone help me?

I notice that I can charge my Nuvi from my 120V charger and the car charger that came with my Motorola Razr. I need a power supply that I can use to run my Garmin on the motorcycle and being the opportunist that I am, there are a lot more Razr chargers around than there are Garmins. Any reason I can't cut one of these up to wire into my bike to power my Nuvi?

Am I capable of running MP3 files on my Garmin StreetPilot c530? I tried one and it didn't seem to work.
I am having trouble getting the alert to sound for the rest areas combined file.

Okay, if this is covered somewhere already, I apologize, but I can't find it and I have searched.

I've had my nuvi 760 for about a month now and really am enjoying it. I just have two questions that hopefully someone can answer.
