Just purchused a nuvi 2555LMT, can I use the 110v charger that I had for my nuvi 660

I am on my third Garmin, but it is acting squirrely so I may be looking for the next one. The way I use mine, I put audio books or mp3 songs on it, plug a cord into its headphone jack to pipe the sound through the car's stereo system, and listen to books/songs on the car's speakers while I drive.

The current Garmin's all say they have no mp3 player/audio book player/headphone jack.

Every now and then, I go to Gary Hayman’s site to the Recent Additions page. I then read the recent articles.

My new 3590lmt is not nearly bright enough to easily see in bright sunlight. I didn't have this problem with my 3490. Brightness is at 100% and still hard to see the screen. The screen is hard to see due to reflections and lack of enough brightness.

Here's an interesting problem. I downloaded a pretty big BirdsEye area, something on the order of 8,000 "tiles". However, I neglected to check "transfer to GPS when finished". How can I transfer this area to my eTrex 30 withouth spending several hours downloading it all over again?

I received the Garmin 3790LMT that I bought last leek and was surprised at all the additional JV covered freeway intersections that have been added.

I did some screenshots on the way to the airport here in Tucson. There are two grabs of two different freeway junctions that are on I10 on the way to the airport.

I have a Blackberry wall charger (5V .05amp) mini cable that fits the GPS. Can anybody tell if this can be used to charge a nuvi 750?

Has anybody loaded the phone(address) book on the 2460?

I am looking for advice on how Garmin updates maps. I just bought a Nuvi 2370 LT which comes with North America and Europe maps.

I've been a loyal Garmin nuvi 350 user for years now and just upgraded to the 1450LMT. No real reason to get it but the price was to good to pass up.

I hate the non-powered mount. The 350 has the wonderful powered mount that makes for quick mounting vs the 1450 and it's 2 step (plug USB in, and clip in) process.

When my Nuvi 765t is showing the fuel efficiency of the current driving, it assumes that the most efficient is driving at 43-44 mph - that's when the score reaches 99, while going slower or faster gets lower score. I'm wondering, how accurate is this assessment in general, and is it really the same for all cars?

I just picked up a 1450LMT today which has a different cradle than my old and still reliable 350. Does Garmin sell the beanbag friction mount arm alone or do I have to buy the whole kit?

Oh, another question. Is the new rubber friction mount better or worse than the beanbag friction mount.

Today I used WebUpdater to see if anything new was available. It updated my software (not firmware) from version 2.70 to 2.80. The firmware is 2.89.

After completing the upgrade I did a hard reset.
The hard reset altered several of my saved modifications. I fixed all EXCEPT one.

*Added ability to automatically send all current map products to newer devices if possible.
*Added ability to send full map products to newer devices rather than needing to select individual map tiles.
*Added display of how many map tiles are selected.
