Garmin talk

I have had my Nuvi 2400 for about 6 months now. This past week the trafic on route feature just stopped working. I live in the DFW area and the traffic feature has always been great.
Any ideas on what may have happened to my GPS?

I'm in the early stages of deciding if I should upgrade my Pioneer head unit to another Pioneer or a Kenwood. The Kenwood uses Garmin as their NAV engine. I have a Nuvi for when I travel (3490LMT). However, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Kenwood Excelon series in regards to installing POI Factory POI's?

ok so im a new user of the garmin gps, ive been using earth and streets n trips for years to travel in my rv so i am interested in the low clearances so i dont hit a friggin bridge. will the garmin show the bridges as i approach them or what. with the s&t i can plan my daily route to avoid this issue before starting out.

When we travel, my wife and I enjoy visiting local wineries. At the end of the month we'll be visiting Asheville, NC, and would appreciate information on good, local wineries in that area. Any suggestions?

When I go to this list and scroll down it, when I get into the "H" area it starts to run together and on top of each other, making it impossible to read or access these files. Any thoughts as I have tried several times, same results. If someone could post this as a file, maybe I can download and access. Thanks

So I purchased lifetime maps awhile back. If I buy a new unit does the lifetime maps carry over to the new unit? Thanks

I have a 2595LMT GPS and I am trying to download a route that I built with Mapquest. I download showing waypoints. It show that the map downloaded fine. When I go to the gps I can't find the route map. Any suggestion.

I wonder if someone can help on this matter.

I download and Install the Red light Speed camera and the rest area,and I associated each one of them with the proper mp3 files too. I have a garmin c550 ,can someone please tell if is possible to Emulate the Driving and how to do it even if am not driving to a specific location.Just want to see if everything work ok.

I posted in another thread but seemed no luck so I created my own thread hope gets more helps from Garmin's users.

When connect the unit to PC, I can see it (drive F). Selected the drive - 3.7 GB. However, I selected all the files only 600 MB.

Disconnected the unit from PC. Turned on - volume button - Diagnostics page. On this page, I see:

I can't figure out how my Nuvi 2460LMT archives the track logs.

Since "giving" me a Nuvi 40LM for Christmas, my oldest daughter has laid claim to my trusty old Nuvi 750, which she usually keeps in her car. The other night I found it on the kitchen table. I figured that maybe it needed to be charged or that something was wrong with it. So, being the thoughtfull father that I am, I decided to "fix" it for her.

Anyone have an insight whether Garmin GPS are ineffective on Vandenberg AFB?

And I have anather question about Bluetooth connection on my GPS. The bluetooth connection on my GPS connection sometimes drop out. Is that because my configuration is not correct?

I just realized that my new 2450LM used micro USB to transfer data, not the mini usb which most equipment use (I have around 20). I misplaced the micro usb. Checked online and it's kink of expensive for what it is. Why can't garmin just use the usb cable like previous 255W?

Im try to loading custom poi,,, still wont work,,,this is the only garmin i cant load so far. Any help? thank you

I just picked up a Nuvi 1450LMT for free that was having shutdown problems. I copied all the owners Favorites out of the 1450 to a temp.gpx and installed them on his new Nuvi 2555LMT. He was so happy with the amount of time I saved him manually re-entering them into the 2555 he told me to just keep the old one, he didn't need it any more.
