Lost system files on a nuvi 465t

It sounds like you've lost, corrupted, renamed or deleted your City Navigator NA NT map file and just have the basemap on your nuvi.

Do you have lifetime updates for the nuvi? If so, you could try a Map Update to the current 2013.10 map. Or go to myGarmin, then myMaps with your 465 connected and re-download/install whatever City Navigator map your 465T last had.

Do you have a backup of your nuvi on a computer hard drive or some such thing? If so, my guess is that you nuvi has lost one or more of the gmapprom files and that you can copy them from your backup back to the nuvi.

Do you have a feeling for what you were doing with the nuvi between having the nuvi work properly and later when you lost the nearby streets?

Is CN NA 2013.10 checked or unchecked?

Reloaded 2013.10 numerous times.
Updated software numerous times.
Tools>Settings>Maps>Info does not exist.
Worked fine until updates.

Are the menu choices not there any more or after selecting Tools>Settings>Maps>Info there is no map to select?

I do know that after doing my map updates there was a Windows pop-up box asking for permission to continue, I forget exactly what for. But if you are doing something else on the PC the pop-up goes to the background and the process doesn't complete until I found the pop-up and hit OK.
