My Nuvi 2350LMT doesn't hold a charge. I use an optional AC charge cable to charge it, leave the unit connected for 5 or 6 hours to get the job done, turn it off, then store it a closet where the temperatures are well within Garmin's acceptable range. Two weeks later I find the unit dead as a doornail.

Greetings Fellow Members: Is there a way to change a Route when viewing in Simulation mode to, another, if I dont like the present. My Nuvi 1490 Lmt seem to prefer a hard way,

If you decide to skip the latest map update 2013.20 and then up date when 2013.40 comes out would you have to update 2013.20 before you go to 2013.40?

I ask because someone once posted they had skipped updates for a year then had to go back and update the skipped over updates before they could just update with the latest.

Hi Everyone, Im not the bearer of bad news, just a guy who brings you the bumps in the gps roads.I journeyed to the dentist 17 miles away, and my unit sent me in widespread tarffic areas, only to reach my destination entering the backstreets.My tomtom xxl 540 was so spot on and simple straightforward.I know i can erform a detour on my streetpilot if i dont like the route.

I purchased one new, then purchased the refurb from WM for my wife.

My Garmin nuvi 785t was operating great. I was using with my car adapter. It failed to start last week All I got was the logo screen and go to the map loading and when it finished loading the screen went blank. What is wrong. The battery is charged and I did not have it on security lock.

I was out running errands today with my 3590LMT. I don't know what happen, but my gps was acting kind of funny. My dashboard wasn't showing what I had input into it. My VC commond was working. After I got home I checked everything and recovered my VC and dashboard. But now I have lost my Search Tools. When I use search it give me a msg "Map data in not available} (or no data available)

I just came back from Rockville, MD From 495 I headed north on I95 and around Beltsville I see Route 200 Toll Rd. To 29. It's open and it does look new but I would think the latest Garmin map would show it but it doesn't.
Anyone know how long that road has been there?

I have a garmin nuvi 710, it has a good database of speed cameras.
How do i set up a poi for a mobile camera site
I want the poi to have voice alert and icon.

I believe i will need a gpx file plus a bmp file plus an mp3 (voice alert file) if this is so how do i combine the files into a poi.

I have a Nuvi 255w and just started using POIs. My question is: What format should I save sound files; wav or mp3?

City Navigator 2013.20 North America must be close to being made available. I believe 2013.10 came out on May 9th, so I'm guessing 2013.20 NA will likely be available sometime in the next week or so.

My Nuvi 2495 says that it has a max number of Waypoints/favorites/locations: set at 1000. Does this mean that I can only upload 1000 POI's? Is there anyway around that? I noticed a campsite file well over 1000 line items...

I have an older Garmin 760 with lifetime maps and traffic. After a software update last spring, my unit started freezing unexpectedly. Has anyone else had this same issue with Garmin software? They downgraded the software in June, which helped, but some features were lost in the downgrade.

After being forced to use Garmin's Base Camp for a few weeks now, I am really missing Map Source.

Is anyone else having trouble adapting, or is it just me?

I have a garmin 62s with sd version of city navagator. But I am fixing to. Buy a Montana 650. And sale the 62s. Can I move that sd cars to the Montana ?

After entering a first destination, it seems when I add a second destination to my 3590 it puts it first in line even when another, already entered location is nearer.
