Minimum POI Distance?

Anyone know if there is a minimum distance that can be set via POI Loader?

What I am thinking about doing is creating a few POI files of all the restaurants, golf courses and recreation centers in a community called The Villages in Florida. I would be using it as a type of "favorites" file that I could access when needed but in doing so I would not want the alert warning going off every 20 feet.

I will be uploading these POI files to a 3590LMT.

Do you really want an alert?

In less there is a particular reason, then just build the file and let poi loader load it to the nuvi. It will be in where to/extras/poi.

No, I do not want an alert.

No, I do not want an alert. I just want to create a database so that I can access them with the least amount of taps on the GPS. Sure would be nice to be able to add a POI shortcut icon to the where to screen.

.

If you don't want an alert, then why are you concerned with the "minimum distance"?

What exactly are you trying to do?

And note that you can't add a shortcut to the Where to? screen.

POI

cool
Poi loader will accept 1 feet or 1 foot to keep things quite..
I use it to do what you are trying to do.

For example;
Why would you want a alert for every truck stop if you know where they all are?
Set them at 1 foot and you get A reference file with no alert unless you roll on top of it.

You do not want an alert and you want to get to your database with minumum steps.

When you get there, then what will you ask the unit to do for you?
