Just wanted to say thanks again for fueling the GPS fire in me. I've had to update my site and move it over to a forums based package as I was hand coding the site previously and it's grown so fast that hand coding was taking too much of my time, and too much out of me so it wasn't growing as fast as I wanted.

What is the chance of expanding the POIs to include Itineraries and/or waypoints? It would be nice to be able to download routes that people have discovered. Scenic Byways come to mind for me. Would there be any interest?

What are the badges some user have and how do I get one?

I've only been using GPS for a week now in my local area and have come across this annoying problem. The unit will not choose a route (or street) that is on the opposite side of a two-lane road even though there is a middle turning lane and you are allowed to turn.

I was wondering if anyone has a Garmin file(or any format) of all the USA Zoo's. I believe this site has Zoo's for the UK. I've looked high and low online and have been unable to find anything.

I was going to create a file but thought I would ask first. I'm still not that good with Google Earth and Lat & lon conversions.

i CANT SEEM TO DELETE POI'S HELP !!!

I am traveling to Ireland in October and will be there for a couple of weeks. We plan on renting a car and driving extensively throughout the country. I need to purchase a detailed map for my Garmin StreetPilot 2720 unit. This would not only include being able to navigate in the city (on the wrong side of the road) but also the roadways throughout the country.

Yes, I know. C330 is not recommended by Garmin for motorcycle applications (waterproofing, vibration, etc). Still, I have been trying to find a handlebar mount system for the C330 to no avail.

Any suggestions?

POI Factory, then under that directory I have each sub directory for that subject. Like

POI Factory/Attractions/

OK I'm new at this online stuff and am surprised to find so much information available. Does anyone know how much (megabites) of memory is in the Garmin nuvi 660?

I am doing some research for a friend who is interested in purchasing a car navigation system. He uses Streets and Trips to create routes and wants to know if there is a way to create trips using that software and then upload those into a GPS system. If there is what brands/models of GPS would be available to him?

Garmin just released an update for the v550

For some reason, every time I go from one discussion forum to another, the system is logging me out and I have to log in again to see the new topics.

I'll try tonight on a different computer, but wondered if anyone else is having this problem. I have not had this happen before today.

This week we are recognizing Jmarqua and Weebl.

Jmarqua has been busy building Poi files of sports attractions and Weebl has been a huge help in the forums this week.

As far as I can tell, it's pretty accurate and was wondering how difficult it would be to create a POI file based on the information listed in each city.
