MP3 Files and Custom POI in .CSV Format

HI:

I am new to this, I just bought my Nuvi 680 two days ago but I am having a blast with it. I have created some custom POI in csv format but want to also attach an MP3 file that is a custom audible warning when a POI is reached. It seems the only way to do it is if you have Map Source CD to create the custom POI and then associate the MP3 file with the new gpx file. Do I understand this correctly or am I missing something?

Map source is easy but I

Map source is easy but I think you can just name the mp3 file the same as your poi file (family.csv family.mp3)and have them both in the same directory that you point POI Loader to load from, then pick manual in POI Loader and pick your proximity or speed alert then have it load them.
You can tell if it loaded the mp3 by looking at the file (poi.gpi) it loads on your SD card or Nuvi hard drive and see how big it is. If the mp3 didn't load it will probably be pretty small (2k to 8k) if the mp3 loaded it will be considerably bigger depending on the size of the mp3 file.
Hope this helps.
Lots of info on this site when it comes to working with poi's.
On a side note, last night I finally got an mp3 & jpg picture to load with a poi using mapsource and saving as a .gpx file then uploading with POI Loader to my Nuvi 660.... pretty cool:)

Thanks very much - it worked! Only took two tries. The first time I had lat and lon reversed in csv file but as soon as I switched 'em it worked perfectly. Thanks for your input. Between the new 680 and this site I am going to have a lot of fun.

As soon as I catch up on some work I intend to create a file for all the speed traps errrr I mean photo radar sites in Washington, DC. I will share it with everyone here.

Thanks again.
