Hello
HI, I got a nuvi 260 when they first came out but soon got rid of it and opted to use the gps on my phone. I had gotten tried of using the phone as it would not work in areas without service. So, when I saw a nuvi 200 on sale, I got one. Good to be back.

outside salesperson looking for easy upload of multiple waypoints with optimization
I use a Tom Tom Go now and its fine for just getting from here to there, but I need to get out and see batches of customers very efficiently in the coming months to distribute samples. I work in LA which is lots of freeways etc and lots of driving so I'd like to be able to dump a list of 20 or more stops into a gps and have it optimize the most efficient route to hit them all in a single day.

How about highest and lowest points? (above/below sea level)
I see the speed post, how about the highest and lowest points? (ground and air)I'm sure someone in Denver will have the highest and New Orleans the lowest ![]()
Then again someone could have climbed a volcano or something.
I wonder if a gps signal would reach down into the ocean? (a navy sub guy)

Converting GPX to CVS File
Is there any software available to convert .gpx file to
.cvs? Some POI's are only available in .gpx format and I want to know how I can use them in .cvs format. Thanks

CBS Story: Your Texas (and other states) Red Light Ticket Could soon Be Null And Void
Texas judge rules against red light tickets. This could also be the case with many other automated ticketing systems in the US.

6 Features Worth Paying Extra For, And 5 Features You Don't Need
At GPS Tracklog http://www.gpstracklog.com/
I agree with the features worth paying extra for...don't necesssarily agree with the features you don't need.
If traffic saves me once from a horrible backup, it's worth it. My FM transmitter works well around here, and people can hear me well over the Bluetooth connection.
What do you guys and gals think?

Duplicate Data?
Hello, I am new to the site and it looks great so far. I was wondering how the data is sorted so we are not all running around recreating duplicate POIs in different lists.
For instance, I would like to add a new QT gas station that is not already loaded on my Garmin. Since Quick Trip gas stations are already listed in a vast number, how can I be sure that I am contributing something new?

New User
I just got a Garmin Nuvi 260W and just getting familiar with it. I use it even though I know where I'm going. It's good to see the detail surrounding the route. I am planning on taking it to California next week. Any special tips or advice?
Glad to have found this site I hope to learn a lot from it.

How many have bought GPS'rs as gifts?
Just curious...
How many have, or plan, to give a GPS as a gift?
Last week, I picked up a 650 for my parents. (Pre christmas etc.. It was a sale and it fit my parent's needs. She didnt want/need traffic. And besides if they needed it they can use the receiver from my 660. Plus, traffic services, in my experience, havent been all that useful anyway.)

hi not really a newbie but I just got a new 755t, does anyone have one, or fm traffic? how do you like it?

New guy from Florida
Howdy,
Just got my Zumo 450 and looking forward to using it with this site
I do a lot of motorcycle riding and I'm usually the leader. I love creating routes and taking people on roads they've never been on before.
I already contributed in the best burgers thread and plan on posting more stuff up.
