Congratulations Cleveland Cavs

Congratulations to the 2016 NBA champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers. For us Clevelanders who live and die with our sports teams - man, it's been a long time. Well done!

Brueggers poi file

I have just attempted to update the Bruegger's file. Unfortunately it just can't be done from their web site.
They have gone to a map view which you need to minimize to get a State, then maximize to find a city. Click on the "BB" and you will get a location. Then you need to back out of it and try again on another location. Not very easy to update a list.

GPS interruption possible near China Lake, CA

Link is to FAA Notice to Airmen about GPS Interfearance tests going on... might this bother ground based GPS reception? Who knows... If you're in the SW USA at the times specified in the link below...and your GPSr is hinky... This might explain.

This week we’re recognizing, Sussamb!

Sussamb is one of our most active members at POI Factory.
In the last few weeks he’s been particularly helpful in troubleshooting issues with the most recent Garmin Map Update. We’re also giving an honorable mention to CraigW for his work on this thread as well.

New to POI Factory

Just a quick hello to the forum. New user of custom POIs and stumbled upon the POI Factory.

Long time GPS user...first one was TomTom software for an HP iPAQ personal data assistant with a BT connected GPS receiver. After many different models, today I use a BMW Navigator V on a K1600GTL.

Need info on an AM antenna array

I have the coordinates of an AM antenna array, and I would like to know how to obtain information on the FCC licensee, frequency, etc. It is a 3 tower array, and the coordinates of the center tower are: 39deg 27' 22.71"N, and 77deg 19' 25.17"W. This is in the Mt. Pleasant community in Frederick County, Maryland. Is there a way to get the info I want from the FCC website?

Keeping The Windmill Alive - Your Last Trip? – June 2016

In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.
