Recently purchased a DriveSmart 51 & 51 to replace our aging nuvi 2460s. I've got two questions that I'm afraid I already know the answers to. Hopefully I'm just missing something.

Is there a way to have the GPS show routing with and without toll roads, or at least ask if you want to use toll roads when routing.

I'm new to Garmin and my TomTom would always ask if I want to use toll roads.

On the way home last night driving down I95 my 3597 had me paralleling I95 off road about 350 feet to the west. Took the exit to US1 and the 3597 had me a block east into the neighborhood. Happened once before a couple of years ago.

I used it yesterday and it worked fine. This morning, wouldn't turn on, either in the car or connected to PC.

New map CN EU 2018.30 NTU just released.

I have a Garmin dezl760LM and I installed a 8GB Sandisk micro DS card in the slot. Now what? Is there a way to format it in the GPS? It isn't seeing the card now and when I hook the GPS to the computer is shows the internal storage is pretty full with a suggestion to add more memory via a card.

Garmin Express 5.9.0.0 is out

I have subscribed to PhotoLive Service in my Smart Link App. So far I have not used it properly. Not sure how it works properly besides opening it manually and see the selected sections of the highways.
It does not show these live pictures on the map while driving as well.

Is this the way it is suppose to work? I will appreciate your feedback.

750 working but needs a new battery, 765 and 3790 have cracked digitizers but LCDs appear to be intact and could both probably use new batteries as well. Would like to repair the 3790 the most but only if I can get it done at a reasonable price and looking for somewhere near Columbus, OH.

I am okay with mailing the items if need be.

My Nuvi 3590LMT refuse to show the map functions in Garmin Express, the maps are dated 2014 but Garmin Express think I am up to date.
I can see my Nuvi in Garmin express, I recently updated the GPS software (V8.30)
Garmin support asked me to remove and re-add my unit...... no go.Garmin express still believe the maps are up to date as it doesn't go into the update function

Hi all, Looks like IOS 11.2 broke Bluetooth on Nuvicam. I have not tested it on my 3597 yet. I upgraded my iphone to IOS 11.2 over the weekend and after that I lost Bluetooth connectivity with the Nuvi.
I reset Bluetooth on Nuvicam and on Iphone but still IOS service is not connecting with Smartlink app anymore.

I like to power all the devices in my car with a USB hub and USB cables. Including my Garmin GPS (I don't need/use the Traffic antenna). Currently I use a Gomadic (an interchangeable-tip system) USB-A cable with a Mini-USB "Charge Only" tip #73. Its different than a standard/Data tip. Was unable to find the Cracker Barrel Discussion thread (is not indicated at the CSV download area).... Want to post an error we found in the CSV file...

We discovered that the address for Cracker Barrel #192 is correct, (1000 Hwy 80E Pooler, GA 31322) but the GPS Co-ordinates are Incorrect.... You go right past CB Restraunt on the way to the wrong location.....

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that all searches have two and sometimes three entries for the same Points of Interest? I have numerous gps's and everyone of them show the same thing. Also, I noticed that I now have a map that is called CN North America NT 2018.30 Parkopedia?

I have downloaded an Icon from the Icon Library and using "Paint Software" the size of this icon is 29 x 24 pixels, which is too small on my Nuvi 2689 screen.

When I resize to 48 x 40 pixels in Paint, the image looses some of its sharpness.

I am wondering which of the following *.bmp formates you you recommend to increase the clearity.

Mono Chrom BitMap
16 color BitMap

Driving back on several major highways today I started wondering what the range is for Traffic Alerts. Does anybody have any idea? Say in miles? No I didn't have any pop up yet. O yea, I'm new to modern GPS units having had a 650 for 10 years or so.

I also wonder who controls the alerts, the DOT for the State maybe?
