Publix Problems

All of the POI files from here work just fine except the Publix file.

All of the Publix locations show normally. The problem is that the selected Publix location can’t be set as a destination. The “Go To” option is dimmed and can’t be selected.

The OEM Publix locations can be selected and used normally.

What could be the problem?

Numeral and No Go

The file downloaded is Publix_Stores_POI_11-2017.csv and the numerals 112017 need to be removed. I'd just rename the file on your computer Publix_Stores.csv, then reload to your device with POI Loader.

Generally, you should also notify the POI file maintainer to remove numerals but given that the user who maintains the file hasn't posted anything for over 4 months, we may need GlobeTurtle or JM to rename the file.

That's great. I do suggest you try to contact the maintainer of the file:

and have him/her rename the file to prevent future problems for users.
