In addition to Google Maps and Mapquest, Microsoft's maps.live.com is able to send locations from its mapping service onto "most Garmin navigators" via MSN Direct (wireless) or USB cable.

Is there a way to view POIs on a map in the C550? I have over 13000 POIs in the GPSr and want to look ahead on a trip I am about to take and see what POIs are along the way.

I bought a Nuvi 760 and since new (2 months old) it has never held a stopped position. It constantly drifts and spins. It shows the car icon pointing south, then west...then northeast then south. It shows speeds up to 3.5 mph and I'm not moving. I have used a 350 and a 650 and those never moved.

my girl hated n was jealous of my 760, now she wants one, but ndoesnt need the bells and whistles, any reviews or feedback on the 255W i see it for around 300, any better? she must have wide and tts, thats about it

Is this common for streetpilots to have firmware loaded from another device. I just updated my 580 and it said it has the 550 firmware on it. Everything seems to be working fine just thought it was a little weird.

Received the unit today and registered it, had problems using Firefox 3 so was able to do it on Explorer 7. Now I wanted to install some POI's to it using the POI download program but it won't find the device error message says couldn't communicate. Am I doing something wrong? I loaded a POI into my wife's c340 no problem.

I was driving along today when my Nuvi 200 beeped - I looked at it, and there on the screen was a box with a message saying "Updating GPS Firmware". A counter then ran from 0% up to 100%, and the box closed. The Nuvi then reacquired satellites and continued to navigate as it had been doing before. What happened?

i made custom poi from garmin mapsource and made some words in comment through waypoint properties, after i load to Nuvi, foto, sound and comment works well the problem is i found comment double, i mean after comment finish, i scroll down i get same comment again below original comment, what's wrong about it ? anybody can help ? Thank's.

Would like to find out if there is any update for nuvi 660. The last update was in May 2008. Someone told me that Garmin is dropping nuvi 660. Does that means that there will be no more update for my nuvi 660? I bought mine back in December 2007..not even 1 year..no map update..Garmin's dropping it..What the hell?

Edit: Ran updater and found an update not listed at Garmin...

I'm backing up mine prior to doing update.
