which Nuvi's has WAS.
Only one i know of is 660
does anyone know if 255, 650, 750, 850, 860
I know 760 does not, i have it.
I cant find WAS on garmin's compare page.

All the Nuvis latch on to
All the Nuvis latch on to the closest road making WAAS completely worthless plus WAAS eats more battery life. All the new chipsets with out WAAS are much quicker to get a signal then any of the old chipsets with WAAS.

My 660 shows it as an option, but I have noticed little difference at all.
WAAS not needed for auto travel
My GPSMAP 76CSx has WAAS. My nüvi 760 doesn't have WAAS. They both route exactly the same for automotive usage. WAAS won't make the slightest difference when you're traveling by road.
I've geocached with both units and WAAS sometimes makes a small difference for that usage but it's not really all that important for geocaching either. Many folks who have WAAS capable hand held units leave it turned off when geocaching because it does tend to shorten battery life.
When I bought my nüvi I didn't worry about the lack of WAAS at all. It really doesn't matter.

Better Accuracy - Consumes more Power

I can not speak for other models, but it is available on the Zumo 550, though I typically keep it turned off. Maybe it would be a help for geocatching...
WAAS - don't see the point
I've used GPS for more than 10 years, I've tried with and without WAAS enabled on several devices. I just haven't seen any benefit to WAAS, not only that, I go ahead and disable it to keep it from getting in the way.

My older Garmin StreetPilot c530 has WAAS. I bought it on eBay for $195 a few months ago.

I keep mine off. I find it does no good in NYC.
