firmware update done on nuvi 760 - now locking up

since my update software ver 3.10 , my 760 locks up at times after speaking turn directions.
anyone have this problem ?

I would suggest that you call Garmin and discuss the problem with them Phone to Phone.
I believe you will get better results from Garmin by directly talking with them. This way they can suggest you try different things and you will be able to do it at once and reply back in the present time. And maybe get it resolved then as opposed to later.

I had lock up issues with my 750 after the 3.10 upgrade.
I thought it might have been because I powered up near a poi with a alert but it was so frustrating I just reloaded Version 3.

software after update became corrupt
i was given instructions to do a reset of the unit, yet this did not resolve the problem. I replied to Garmin instruction e-mail again and within 10 minutes got the reply:
Thank you for contacting Garmin International. I would be glad to help you. Sounds like it would have to come in for repair. Please use the following shipping address and instructions to ship your Nuvi 760 to us. When you do send it please send only the unit, remove any accessories, wires and attachments that might be connected to it. Once we receive the unit it will take about 7 to 10 business days before it comes back to your address. Also when you do ship it we ask that you use of a shipping company that supply tracking numbers such as: UPS, DHL or FedEx.
sucks: i had the unit only 7 month and now i'll be without for 10 days ( i'll have to use my wife's nuvi 680)
