does anyone have a goldwing icon or vehicle i can use on my garmin?

I am in need of help.. I just had my garmin replaced nuvi 50lm and on my old garmin had the POI for the red light camera or proximity points already installed on it. This one doesn't have it. Should I return the unit because I can't find the free POI for the this.

As a result of a forthcoming Road Closure to my cottage, I decided to play with Basecamp and enter a Custom Avoidance, to find a new route.

I knew I could do this with Mapsource and but for the life of me, I could not find anyway of doing this in Basecamp. I put avoidance in the Help search and nothing comes up. I played with Routing Options and I could find nothing.

Hopefully, this hasn't already been mentioned. If so, I just missed it. I don't use Garmin Express right now but from this Garmin faq below, it certainly appears that the new Garmin Express can finally install map updates to a computer. Hopefully the computer installation can be seen by the computer's Mapsource or BaseCamp software.

I know that this has been discussed here in the past, but I am just looking for any recent experienced from fellow members in this regard. I just bought a used Garmin Nuvi, but when I went to register it, I found out that it has already been registered.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 350 now and I am picking up another used Garmin Nuvi 360 very soon. Anyway, one of these will likely get installed in my Chevrolet Silverado that my oldest son drives. If I decide to transfer his music from the computer to the Nuvi 350/360, how well will this work in the vehicle?

I've been happy with my Garmin c340. I just got a Garmin c580 which has the same comfortable user interface and is easier to manage with my PC.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to export all my saved Favorites from my c340, so I can import them into my c580?

Was hoping someone could help as I am new to managing POIs. I have subscribed and downloaded the camera and speed cam POI files and wanted to know how they get activated on my Garmin for use. I have installed them into the device using the POI loader and wanted to confirm how I will now see them.

POI LOADER

Every time I attempt to load POIs to the unit I get this notice "folder invalid click Browse to choose a new folder to continue"

No file is accepted. Please advise.

Has been uploaded onto their servers meaning it should be released for download within the next 2 weeks or so.

The last map update I did (2013.04) on my 750 installed Garmin Express. It has been complaining ever since that I need to allow it to download and install 2013.04. I finally broke down and allowed the installation. It appeared to go off without a hitch.

Was on a trip earlier today when a friends garmin was started only to ask press here showing an x and y axis line on a small circle. After its pressed the point moves and asks to press again. After 12 or so I thought the system was faulty and looked to power off reset the unit. Starting the process all over. After about 15 calibration point entries it finally said calibration complete.

I am throwing this out there because I have noticed a correlation between failed firmware updates on units with a large trip log.

I've seen this problem happen several times to myself as well as to my customers. I've seen it on the 14xx units but I feel that it could happen to other models as well.

I have had my Garmin 2495LMT for less than three months and I am experiencing problems with the speaker. Most of the time it will work fine but other times I get a garbled voice and sometimes I get no sound at all; not even a ding when I turn it on.

Or is it just me?
Had been getting a "site is down for maintenance" for quite some time now, when trying to update maps.

We already have a post for the 25x5’s. I decided to start this one because I think we have the same issues. I have some posts in there.

I did a search and couldn't find anything on this so I thought it's be good to post. I just had a major headache trying to update the maps & software on a Nuvi 1450 with lifetime maps. Neither webupdater nor the new Garmin Express would even recognize the unit after connecting ot to the computer. Windows Explorer was able to search the device with no problem.

I can't install the audio alert file from MacBook Pro to my new nuvi 3580.
Can you help me?
I included the "sox" for Mac in the POI file directory and it does't works.
