Garmin talk

OK, on my Garmin Nuvi 1450 or my 1490 I go to tools> My Data> Import Route(s). I do not want those on my Garmin, but I can't find a way to remove them. I've tried hooking the Nuvi to the computer & I can find GPX, remove every thing in there, but when I unplug and look at my Nuvi those are still there. Do you mean I can not get those off my Nuvi?

Will someone review how to trAnsfer favorites from backup to a replaced 3790 nubile.

I recently drove from Phoenix, AZ to Los Angeles, CA on a Business Trip and had to make several Stops while there. I could NOT have accomplished my Mission if not for my Garmin nuvi 2555LMT. It really Shined for me. I like using it. It has been a God Send for me.

If this thread exists please point me in the right direction. I was not able to find it using the search.

How can you remove a false alter RLC? There are a couple in my area that just do not exist.

I recently used Garmin Express to install voices into my Nuvi 350, including Squirrely. I see the VPM file "SQUIRRELY.VPM" in the device's G:\Garmin\Voice folder, but cannot figure out how to select the Squirrely voice via the Nuvi 350 device.

The way to disconnect from the Garmin Express is to Press the X in the Top RHS

I currently own a NUVI 765T which uses FM Traffic and a NUVI 3590LMT which uses Digital 3D Traffic. Both seem to work pretty good in my area.

I often receive emails from Garmin with update notices and what I believe are specific references to the eligible devices, e.g., GPSMAP 695/696 6.60 (April 11, 2013).

What does that mean; is there a way to crack the code?

Hi all, Yes I am a newb to this site. I am a pc technician for a living and have understood just about everything on this site. Very informative and well laid out.

I am using an LG220C and my 1490LMT. I have successfully paired them. When I touch the phone icon, the next page shows Phone book, Points of Interest, Dial, Call History, Call Home and Voice Dial. Except for Voice Dial, everything works great.
Here is a problem. If I walk away from my truck, the phone icon drops out and does not return until I power the 1490 off, then back on.

I have connected my nuvi 3590 to my computer, opened the drive and put a .gpx file in the GPX folder. I cannot find the .gpx file from within my device. I have read through the FAQs and done a search on the internet and I cannot find the answer to this question for my device. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

This is the 3rd time this has happened but here's the deal. Shut off not sleeping, the thing starts, says map loading, then gets a bit brighter, then makes a sound then quits. Does this repeatedly. Will not start at all this time. Two other times it finally did start. I connected it in the car and no luck. Held the top left corner and it says system loading then quits.

I have racked my brains out trying to figure a way to make a custom route and save to unit. Map source doesn't work. I ride a motorcycle and like to make my own routes. Also how about saving POI's to the unit. Any help will be appreciated.

Trip from Columbus, OH to Winchester, VA.

NUVI 3590LM with the maps and system both updated the day before I took the trip.

Was traveling south on I-79 near Morgantown, WV and my route was taking me to I-68 eastbound.

I noticed that when you want to connect your Device to your Computer, while attached to the Express program, you need to Canx (click X in top right hand corner) and you will be free to interface with you Computer

My 2450 uses the powered mount. It is a hassle to get the plug to fit into the mount, because Garmin did not designed a tapered slot in the mount. I have to remove the plug each and every time to store the cable in my case. Is there a cable that will work that instead fits into the small connector at the bottom of the 2450 from a cigarette lighter?

Presently in Florida and heading back to Canada, need info on how to get to Interstate without having to enter a street address. Also, where do I find "fastest way" on my Garmin? thanks

hi i have just got a garmin 2952lmt and put some voices on it , ihave put the vml files into the voice folder and show up on my pc when device is connected so i know they are there but when i go into my device to change voice they are not there or dont show up any ideas
