How's the impact on battery

How's the impact on battery life so far?

No significant change apparent

With a relatively new 9th generation iPad I’m not seeing any appreciable change in battery life.

Better

Battery life seems to be improved on our iPhone 12 & 14.

For a change

Apple notified my iPhone when they released 16.2. In the past my phone has been saying that it had the current release for a long time after an update was officially released. This time it got the notice right away.

The update is installing as I type. No issues so far, and I hope that it continues that way.

Finally !

At long last my latest generation iPad Air told me that I should update the OS. For many weeks others have talked about going to iPadOS 16+ while my device kept telling me that it was up-to-date at iPadOS 15.7.

When my iPad finally said that it was appropriate, I downloaded and installed iPadOS 16.2. No visible installation issues and the iPad seems to be working well without any obvious problems.
