Itineraries on newer TomToms
I am so happy that I was able to customize my Start 55TM to be able to use itineraries! 
Now I can create itineraries with Tyre and use them in my TomTom!!!
If you simply download the zip file and copy the folder in it to the root directory of your TomTom and it will mofify the default directory. You simply delete the directory or the contents if you don't like it.

newbi - conversion problems - help please
I'm trying to convert my garmin files to ov2. Using poiedit, the garmin files appear in windows 7 as microsoft excel files. They open after selecting the suggested format (can't remember which). When I try to save as I keep getting an error windows saying the format does not match even though I have selected tomtom ov2 format. Any help greatly appreciated.

Trouble Uploading itinerary from Tyretotravel
I made an itenary in Tyre for a trip to Pigeon Forge, TN.
I saved it in my POI folder. I am having trouble uploading it to my device. I followed the directions as stated here:

I finally solved my POI icons issue! I'm so happy!!
Yay!
I finally solved the issue I was having with POI icons on my TomTom 2325M. It turned out that, instead of uploading the images into the "POI" section of my TomTom interface (Add Community Content), I was uploading the images into the "Images" section. After doing a lot of searching, I finally found this post on the TomTom Support Forum that solved my issue:

Use of SD card on Tom Tom
I have a Tom Tom Eclipse (in dash unit). It has an SD card slot. What can I store on this card besides alternate maps? When I put an SD card in the slot and connected it to my computer, the SD card appeared in the computers directory. Just to test what it can do I copied a pdf file to the card. My Tom Tom can read documents.

How many items cab I have in itinerary
I have a TomTom XXL and am planning a trip for when the kids are on spring break. I am not sure how many stops/waypoints I want to add yet. Just wondering what the max is. I didn't see anything in the manuel.

Route creation
I have a Mac running OSX 10.7.3, and want to create my own holiday route around Europe via several places hopefully using the excellent route finder from www.viamichelin.com. I have seen that there is a facility to save the route for a TomTom as a file, which I have done, but when I load it onto the TomTom map folder nothing seems to happen under the POIs. What am I doing wrong?

Places of Worship
About a year ago, installing a new map caused me to lose the "Places of Worship" POI category. It has been a long year of misinformation, re-installing map after map, being blamed for the delay in getting support because I followed the instructions of posting at least every 72 hours to keep the question from being closed as answered... and the list goes on.

How can I add a route?
I wanted to navigate home from college this weekend. The GPS gave me a route. But I saw a different route on google maps. Even when I hit the alternate route button it still did not give me the google map route. I printed it up and followed it until I got to where the GPS picked up the remainder of the route. How can I add this for the future?

Update to software on some TomTom models
TomTom has announced updates to the software for some of their recent models. The announcement itself can be found on the page at:
