New Version Home 2.7.0.1785 For Windows Released.

It seems to have problems with some users.

About all that is new is the colors.

Newbie here, but I had a question I can't seem to find the answer to. I have a Tom-Tom XL 330S. I enjoy having the icons come up as I drive and have no problem seeing POIs or programming which ones I want. The brand name ones like McDonalds, Wal-Mart or Subway are fine because I can actually see the icon representing those stores.

I am new to this arena, but I am extremely frustrated with my Tom Tom One XL. I find that 80-90% of the time, there is "No POI Found!" Even for seemingly obvious entities, such as Walgreens, etc. My question is: I have an Iphone.

Just in case anybody else is having trouble getting info on what to do with ov2 files.
Simplest explanation: copy the .ov2 files into your map folder on your GPS
Mine is USA_and_Canada, put them in there, and you will see them in a search for POI's .
The Icons were solid color red

I have a Tom 510, and i was wondering how to remove the factory installed POI...... There are many that the factory have installed when i purchased, but I do not need them, like Auto Dealers, etc. Can someome please tell me what Folder or File I can fine them in....... I have no problems installing POI , but to remove the Factory ones are difficult to locate them.......

My TomTom screwed up on a recent trip down to the Philadelphia Intl. Airport (PHL). It seems that the airport POI that came pre-installed on my One NE (with a North America map) has the PHL location listed incorrectly.

I downloaded the Goodwill POI data file, dropped it in my maps folder, and the icon is showing up in my points of interest, but it says no POI found! What am I doing wrong?

I've been looking around at different schemes and there don't seem to be any sites that really consolidate all the available schemes on the TT. TThome does not have thumbnails and I hate have to disconnect and test them as I go.

Any suggestions on how or where to browse/DL different schemes?

A few days ago my Tom Tom One 3rd Ed. turned on while just resting on a counter in the kitchen. I did a internet search and found this is a common occurance. Anyone here had this happen? I suspect it may be related to exposure to strong electromagnetic fields - mine was near the back of a TV set when it popped on.

I have read I need POIEdit to convert POI files so I can use them on my GPS.

I have only seen one website that offers the POIEdit software download.

Everytime I try to download the software it locks up and says "Not Responding".

Is there another site, or a setting I need to change to be able to download the software?

Hello everyone-

I just got my TomTom 130 for fathers day and found this site to add POI's to my GPS.

I followed along fine but I found something strange for a few POI files. Specifically:

McDonalds USA
Bank of America ATM
Starbucks

I discovered this feature on my new ONE XL, but, can not make it work. I got the cell phone and the TomTom to recognize each other, but, when I used another phone to call my cell, thinking I would get a connection with my TomTom, I did not. Cell just went to voice mail.

Did I do something wrong? Checked TomTom site and the Quick Start Guide and could find no material on this feature.

I know I can try to find a nearby intersection but that requires using booting up my PC and using Google map or something like it. I just want to be able to add the dash that's part of many Kauai addresses
