Hi to you all.I have the tom tom go 920,and have downloaded a poi from tom tom home called BT which gives you the addresses of all the telephone exchanges in the UK.my problem is that i also own the iphone 3gs with the tom tom app,but need to know where and how to get the same poi to go on my iphone,any help would be appreciated.

Don't think I have posted on here before, so Hello. I have just got a new GPS, it's the Tom Tom 330s I like the 330s very much, I also have a Garmin Map76 and an AvMap for all you hams that know what that is.

no problem adding poi files (ov2 and bmp into North america map)...but....I don't see them while I'm driving past any such loaded place...everything is searchable and I have them checked off as (to see)...even added warning sounds for them as well...(ex) 7 Eleven USA...i can search them, they show up fine, icons and all. When I drive past one..they aren't on the screen.....

What am I missing?

I own a Nuvi 265WT. The way that Garmin Nuvi models tend to exit early from the highways and take local roads is driving me a little crazy sometimes.

I’d like to get a second GPS and am seriously thinking about a TomTom. Being unfamiliar with TomTom models, could someone please explain to me the differences on the TomTom Live, TomTom One, and TomTom XL models?

I'm really sorry to be Debbie Downer here, but I'm feeling really, really burned by TomTom. I thought I'd share my experience here, and the fact that I am now a 100% convert to Garmin.

I currently own a 265T, which I purchased after being bitterly disappointed and frustrated with a very expensive mistake called a TOM TOM 920.

Hey So I just updated my XL335S about 3o minutes ago put the GPSquickfix update on and ejected the drive, now I have a constant loop of the tomtomlogo and the drive loading. If I try to reset I get either a green screen or a linux menu with device stats on it I can update and run the device through my machine normally, however, immediantly after it is ejected the unit goes in cycle.

HI, can a user waypoint be loaded to Tom Tom maps?

My TT140 is not charging with all of my existing miniUSB chargers.

I can use a generic Motorola miniUSB charger to charge the TT140 at home on AC, but in the car, my generic Motorola miniUSB car charger won't work with the TT140.

My friend some distance away has a Garmin Tom Tom model C330. I am trying to help him load some POI files.

I see where is says that it does but cant seems to see a link for it. Any help?

I am trying to load the "Wal-Mart_US&Canada.ov2" onto my TT 630. I know I am not a complete idiot because I was able to get Kohls, Target, and Wachovia on my GPS sucessfully.
