Any update on using x-xxxx formats for Hawaii addresses
I know I can try to find a nearby intersection but that requires using booting up my PC and using Google map or something like it. I just want to be able to add the dash that's part of many Kauai addresses

Parking garage causes long reception recovery
A couple of days ago I drove into a parking garage (concrete structure) and the GPS lost reception. I turned it off after a few minutes. When I returned to the car I turned on the GPS (Tom Tom 1 3rd ed.) and then drove out onto the street. The GPS could not get a satellite lock for about 20 minutes - it usually locks on in less than a minute. What caused this?

In-dash GPS units
Recently I bought a barnd new RAV4 and I wanted an In-dash GPS unit with it. But, reading a lot of negative reviews about Toyota GPS map, I decided to buy an aftermarket GPS unit. Finally, I found some Chinese GPS units that can use Tomtom, garmin or any other GPS software. I already had Tomtom maps for my Windows mobile phone. But, this chinese GPS unit uses Windows CE 5.0.

IQ routes on the Go720
I just got the latest Maps (830.2284) and Firmware (8.351) loaded onto my GO720 and I see that I now have IQ routes. This is why I like the Tom Tom over the Garmin, you get new features without fleecing your bank account.

Tripmaster 2.5
What's new in Tripmaster v2.5 ?
The only enhancement of Tripmaster v2.5 is that it works on Tomtom v8.350 navcore.
If you are using Tomtom v8.350 navcore, you must install Tripmaster v2.5 and another program to solve v8.350 problem with plugins .

I've had and used my TomTom 125 for several months now, and can truly say it's far inferior to any Garmin units I've used.

Tripmaster v2.4a
Tripmaster v2.4a is now available.

This version v2.4 fixes some other memory leaks, when you put Tripmaster in background. It has got now all the setup screens that were present in v1.8.
The v2.4a version fixes the following bug : time isn't refreshed in title when Tripmaster is in automatic colors mode.

POI do not show on map
I downloaded a couple of Rest Area POI files and after installation on my GPS (TomTom One 3rd Ed) the symbols would not show on the map. I opened one of the files with an on-line POI editor, re-saved it, and reloaded the new file to the GPS. Now it works! I just got my GPS and updated the app to App 8.010 and loaded the latest US-Canada map.

International Maps
I was wondering if anyone has had any luck using a map of, say, the UK (or any other country), on a tom-tom unit that came with the map of North America preloaded.

TomTom Bluetooth feature
I discovered this feature on my new ONE XL, but, can not make it work. I got the cell phone and the TomTom to recognize each other, but, when I used another phone to call my cell, thinking I would get a connection with my TomTom, I did not. Cell just went to voice mail.
Did I do something wrong? Checked TomTom site and the Quick Start Guide and could find no material on this feature.
