Loading POI's on Magellan Roadmate 700

I am new at custom POI files on my Magellan, and would like some help. I have the software to convert the CSV files for it, but is there any kind of limit on how many POI files I can install on it? I have 5 I downloaded frmom this site, and was wondering if I need them all in one file, or can I install 5 seperate files?

Thanks!!

Mark

Magellan RoadMate Tools

With my RoadMate 3000, I was able to load several files onto the GPS, but I could only set one file to be active at a time. The files would need to be combined to have all of the locations active as custom POIs.

I haven't updated my Magellan software for a while, so this may have changed.

Thanks! I was leaning

Thanks! I was leaning towards combining into one file anyway, just to be sure. Does the custom POI file override the built in one, or will the built in POI's still be active also?

Magellan RoadMate 3000t Question

Great! This answers one of my questions. Glad I found this site already...

I have a question about the Icons on the RM 3000t. Is there a way to add to the list of Icons? My Family likes to travel a lot and visit historic sites, Light Houses, Civil War Battle Fields, and more. I would like to have meaningful icon for the custom POIs I create.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Chris.

One file

I conbined everything into one file, and uploaded. It works great!
