POI projects

I am making a file with all Qdoba locations and I am in the process of building a spreadsheet with all US locations (over 200) and I was wondering if anyone would like to chip in and help me find some of the locations? Like maybe 30? Post here or contact me and I can email u a spredsheet with 30 for you to look up!

OK so here we go. Since there seems to be an interest in the Hilton chain of hotels, I'm starting a new project to collect and geocode all of their locations.

Anyone wanting to join in, please feel free. I'd love the help.

I would love to start a dive site project, especially for shore diving since one can drive up to the POI and then dive it. It would be great to include parking locations since many shore diving sites have very restrictive parking. I do love to shore dive! Any other divers here? I see people have been working on some of the shipwrecks I have been diving on in the North East US...great stuff!

I have started a new POI listing all of the NFL's training Camps. Figured I would give notice here to eliminate any duplicate effort. Is anyone interested in assisting? I have a good jump on it.

I just uploaded an updated file. Adds Woodford Reserve in Versailles, KY. Official Bourbon of the KY Derby.

Any clue where I can find POI's for these?

As I organize the POI file areas I am finding some files that are not in a category. I would like everyone to take a few minutes and go to the files that they have created and make sure that they have selected a category.

If you have not selected a category, hit the edit button, select a category from the list and then submit your file again.

now that i've finished setting up my pois, i thought i'd make my first contribution: two mp3s i made. one says "red light camera ahead" and the other "speed trap ahead".

Is anyone familiar with the tv show on the travel channel callsed 1,000 laces to see before you die. They also have a book out for that as well..

Wouldn't it be really fun to put the list of these locations together?

I finally found a POI project that i can sink my teeth into.

I haven't seen much in the way of any POI's for Olive Garden Restaurants (just the one her for NJ I believe) so I'm working on making some POI files starting out here on the west coast. So far I have what I believe to be a complete list for WA, OR, ID, CA, & NV.

Anyone have any good lists for locations of Applebee's restaraunts around the US...or part of it? Sounds dumb, but I'm on Weight Watchers and they have a menu based around it. All I can find is one for Atlanta.

I know its an old way to lose weight, but don't knock it until you try it. I now weigh less than I did in high school.

Just a general note --

If you have an update to a file that you've previously uploaded, it's best to goto the original file's page and use the "edit" tab to upload the replacement file.

This approach is better than uploading to a new page because existing links and info are preserved, and it makes duplicate files less likely.
