I just checked and with the states we have so far we are already at almost 700 locations. WOW! This is going to be a big file when it's complete.

It was reported in the news that the Paris Hilton was moving to jail.

As I spent most of the day out in the sun (apparently too much time), I'll be spending tomorrow inside and probably theresore at the computer working on this project. Hopefully we'll see some progress as a result.

I just added these 3 states.

We are over 1200 locations and counting! It'll be interesting to see how big this file gets.

Does anyone know of a way to visually geocode a location by pointing to a location on a map or something? Here's the problem:

Hampton Inn Kayenta Highway 160, Kayenta, Arizona, USA 86033

Batch Geocode mapped it way off the highway on an Indian Reservation with no roads for miles around. So I've been trying to find a way to get a Lat. and Long. by clicking on a map and then matching it up with the map and directions on Hilton's website.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Found it in using Google Maps and then MapSource.

Sorry I've been back to sleeping and working...that's what a compressed 12 hour graveyard shift will do to you. I'm just geting caught up on my emails now. I did get AL & TN. I'll get them added by morning.

I just completed these states. I'll run them thru that great POI verifier program and have them added to the main file today.

I finally got the chance to update this. I think that I got everything included. If I missed something let me know as it was a big update so I likely forgot/missed something.

Bob & Alan, thanks for the help. We are up to 2276 POIs in this file! When I started this project I knew that it'd be a big one, but I never dreamed it'd be this big.

Bob, I'm off to try to get those screen captures I promised you regarding batch geocode and it not being able to locate an address.
