POI projects

  I'm new to my GPS and loading POIs. I formatted an SD card with my PC and then used POI loader to load several different CSV files such as Airports and Ham Radio Repeaters to the SD card. I can see the files on the SD card. When I put the card in the GPS, how do I see the "new topics"?

Last night I upgraded software version from 4.4 to 4.6
I also have the red light camera POI file loaded.

Today while driving I now have new icons on the screen such as a bus, a $, and others that are small and to difficult for me to make out while driving (Old Eyes even with a new prescription in my glasses).

I can't find the combined rest area for the 48 states. It disappeared.

Just wanted to post the location of a fairly new Lowe's Store in Sierra Vista, AZ. Was there yesterday, but failed to get the phone number, will try to get that when I visit again as I'm about 40 miles from this location. The location is: -110.25922,31.55812. Thanks to others who have maintained this POI file.

Has anyone seen a POI for Kawasaki motorcycle dealers? I seen the one for Yamaha and would like one for Kawasaki

I took my monthly trip to Louisiana to do some gambling, and I went a different way this time. I was traveling down I-20 near Marshall, Texas and out in the middle of nowhere I hear a voice saying "I-Hop Restaurant Ahead"! I almost drove off the road, because there was NOTHING near my location.

I just uploaded a POI file for all of the California Pizza Kitchen restaurants in the United States. I can remember having them as waypoints in my old Garmin GPS-45XL (back when GPSr's didn't have maps in them!). I still love this restaurant, and hope others enjoy the POI file.

The recently posted COSTCO US and Canada poi file shows a wrong location for COSTCO, Bedford Park, Illinois. The store is located on Cicero Avenue and the store address is 7300 S. Cicero Ave, Bedford Park, Illinois 60629. The address on the poi file takes you to someone where on S. Central Park Avenue between 64th and 65th Streets.

I am interested in being able to navigate the lakes at night or when the fog sets in and try to get back to the dock. Does ianyone know of any resource that provides the coordinates for lake channels and docks?

I am new to this, and find myself making rookie mistakes. I uploaded both .csv and .gpx versions of my POI file containing Dairy Queen locations around Georgia. It was not until after I posted them, and a few copies were downloaded, that I discovered POI Verifier (Thanks to Retired Technician). Using this fine tool, I found that I had put incorrect coordinates in for a couple of stores.
