Ticket cameras

What happens when traffic signals are out/not working due to a power outage? Is it safe to assume the red light cam is also disabled due to the lack of power, or by design?

Tampa, FL, city council has just approved the addition of twenty (20) new red light cameras by the end of the year. This is a city in real financial trouble and is looking for these revenue cameras to boost their budget. It will cost $158 per ticket. I understand that they are also looking at speed cameras to get into the pockets of drivers who accelerate to beat the road sensors.

Need a little help here. I have downloaded both the Red Light and Speed camera file, and they loaded fine in the unit. The issue is when I go to the CUSTOM POI option, I can't turn them all on, I'm only limited to 10 custom POI's. I found the same issue with the US Golf Courses. Are the file numbers referencing an area of the country?

Found this interesting news article on the internet. In part, this is a summed up version of what the article said.

For the first month beginning April 15th 2011 till May 15th 2011 it'll be a warning but after that all violators will be issued a 158$ ticket.

The San Diego Union Tribune is reporting two new red light cameras in Oceanside, CA. I have notified Miss POI so that they can be added to the POI file.

I think I've asked this question in the past, and nobody said yes.

For whatever reason, I find it annoying being the last car going through a red light intersection, because it's not possible to stop. But I usually look up and see the light is yellow, never red.

It seems like if you've run a red light, you know
it with 100% certainty.

Please be advised that the City of Yonkers has
a Red Light Camera System. They already have some in place and will continue to install Red Light Camera Systems throughout the City. (the latest one about to go up is Central Pk ave and Fort hill near Oakley's car
wash). The one’s in RED were installed in places most frequently traveled by some of you… Take note and remember.
