Speed Cameras

We now have speed cameras built into the radar trailers they park along the road and display your speed as you drive by. Now they now have a sign on them saying it is also a speed camera.

I find it dumb they make you login to read the whole article. (No offense).

But personally, I'd be happy if a car side swiped this and ruined their investment. Do real police officers no longer patrol any roads or intersections?

I have noticed a loud outcry towards the installation and operation of both speed cameras and red light cameras. Granted the politicians are more than likely just looking for a fast buck, but would there be as much of a outcry if they installed, let's see "murder cameras"? Just thinking, if we don't drive with our heads up your A%% then we shouldn't have much of a problem. We could also upset the politicians and save our money at the same time. Regarding the murder came we would more than likely all cry big brother. More important than that the politicians wouldn't be able to just send a ticket to the bad guy and tell him to "give me money".

Hey, politicians, think about it. Maybe you can consider selling permits allowing citizens to ignore selected crimes. Heck the government already sells pollution credits to big business. Just think how much money you bureaucratic dirt bags could make, and at the same time cut back on law enforcement and the courts. Less crime means less need for them.

I think I will apply for a permit to demolish my neighbors car stereo.
