With the first year anniversary of POI-Factory's current Terms of Use only one week away, perhaps its time to establish a POI-Factory Hall of Fame. Election to said body of elites would bring with it a permanent Windmill and all the benefits associated therewith.

I wanted to thank the person that posted this file. We just returned from a trip to Florida which involved traveling on I-95 throughout parts of SC, Ga and FL. We did see LE at several of the locations in the poi file.

I am back from vac and then was sent away again on a bussiness need. Will be going again soon.

To all that have sent me great info for my poi files, I will be updatingthem and getting them on poi-factory as soon as I can.. Just been very busy with work..

When you travel, do you bring your suction cup and bracket with your Nuvi. I bought the Nuvi because it was so small an portable and I dont want to bring all the gear with it. However it slides all over the place if I put it in a new car.

Do you guys prop it up or wedge it somewhere in your rental cars?

Using the info provided by forum members as a result of my earlier School Zone post question, I used the School POIs in the POI file list and set up my NUVI 360 to give me an audible signal when approaching a school zone. I then discovered that in the VA, DC & MD areas many local schools are not included, particulary the private and Church sponsered schools.

for the post office file, is there any way to delete out all the historical post offices if they're no longer in service? any way to find the little blue metal usps boxes on street corners?

Rumors abound, but HTC's newest SmartPhone, The Kaiser, looks like it's being picked up by ATT for either a Sep 10 or Oct 10 release. It has a GPS antenna built-in but comes with no maps. Supposedly Siif. Also has every other top of the line feature possible to cram into a smartphone and probably a price to match. The Smartphone world is all atwitter.

i have been trying to contact the customer service in regards to my free upgrade since i purchased my unit on August 7, but every time i have tried it shows busy signals. Does anybody have the same issue?

I just want to take some of the neat ICONS and put them on my Garmin nuvi 350 and be able to select those for my POI's that I already have in my Garmin, example McDonalds I want to be able to select that icon from my list of Icons is this possible. I have the POI loader and can attach all to my computer? Thanks for any suggestions or point in in the correct direction.

I have an outdated poi file csv of red light cameras,on my c330. Do they have to be removed before I download a new list from this site, or does it overwrite. If it needs to be removed, how do I go about it>

I am a recently retired guy with a new C340 toy to play with. My wife and I recently took it for a joy ride through the central Texas hill country to see what it could do. As the newer generation would say.....this thing Rocks!!

Hi everyone... I have been in China for about 3 weeks and have stopped over in Vancouver BC for a week before returning to Los Angeles. I have an updated red-light camera list and see red-light cameras all over but no warning when I approach them. Any ideas?

Today, with no warning, all sounds coming from my Nuvi 670 became inaudible, as if the speakers cracked. All the sounds were "fuzzy" and completely undiscernible.
It appears that my internal speakers failed. I verified the speaker problem by connecting the headphone jack to my car stereo and then by switching over to the FM transmitter. The audio was acceptable when I did those two steps.

Has anyone purchased and loaded the Map update 2008 City Nav. North America NT for a garmin yet? If so is there many changes?

Nuvi 650 questions: Is there a simple way to make a POI a 'Favorite'? If so, how? Likewise, if I am viewing a map, is there a way to add a location to a Favorite? Thanks, from a new user.
