Custom POIs or Favorites - How to?

I have a c330. I have loaded many of the POIs and they show up in the Custom POI file. I loaded the WiFi Hot spots (Houston & area) and they show up under Favorites. Can I group them as WiFi and place them in the Custom POIs with the others or am I stuck with the long list in Favorites?

I've wondered this, too with my Nuvi 660. If I have a POI, either custom or favorite, is there a way to incorporate these into the main database for a search? I have many favorites that I've entered the addresses for because they weren't in the database. Sometimes, I forget that they're there and just do a "main" search, but the favorites and custom POI names aren't included. Any way to do this?

POI files

When you use POI-Loader to load your poi's, If you don't use manual it will take all of the .csv and .gpx files that are in the same folder with POI-Loader (including sub-directories) and turn them into a file called poi.gpi, which is installed on the garmin unit under Garmin-POI. The existing poi.gpi is overwritten. Put all the .csv/.gpx files that you want in the folder with POI-Loader and they will be in the custom poi area.

How did you load them so that they ended up in the Favorites? Did you use POI Loader? If so, they shouldn't have ended up there.

Favorites?

The file is an EasyGPS file. At the top of the page is an icon to load into GPS. I simply clicked on this icon - the file loaded (into Favorites).

Woohoo! Done it!

I love you guys. All is well. WiFis now in correct spot (Custom POIs). Thanks for the instructions.
