I have a Garmin Nuvi 350, Mapsource, and an excel spreadsheet with 400 addresses that i would like to import into the Nuvi. What is the best way to go about doing this? Thank you all for your help.

Can any one tell me how to create a mp3 file using my
garmin Nuvi350 voice name (Jill) I want to create my
on personal MP3 for the Weigh Station File. I won't post it because its not gonna be nice Ha.Ha.
But its gonna go somthing like this

Once I learn MP3's BMP's is Next.

I just found this site today. I tried to download POI's for my 2720 and got a 0 byte download. What is the problem. I also have new computer that does not have Excel except a trial version that will not let me use it unless i sign up for a full version. Anyone have any answers?

I sure am glad this site exists. I am about to deliver my daughter to Boston for her first year of college, 32 years after I graduated and departed Boston. I relied on the MBTA during my student days. While I certainly recall that the T took me everywhere, this time around I will be driving Boston streets, and I am less than totally confident about doing that.

I got to looking at some of the iteresting info on the site and thought I would share. Pilots aren't the only ones interested in having fun!

I'm looking to buy my first GPS, and have an idea what i want, it's between Garmin, TomTom, Magellan. I talked to a salesperson at Radio Shack. And was told there is a problem with the touch pad on all of them. And he suggested I buy the extended warranty. said problems show after about a year of use. Anyone know about this, or is he just pushing their warranty?

Can anyone help me? I was able to transfer the Redlight Camera csv file to a magellan file .mgl via the Magellan software however I don't know how to get the sound poi for a redlight camera on there. I named the mp3 file the same as the redlight camera file but when I attempt to transfer it to a Magellan file it needs longitude and lattitude coordinates...does anyone know if this can be done?

Is there a possibility that the Pois could be cross indexed by geography? For example, I'm going on a trip to Alaska and Western Canada. It would be great to download all Pois on file for this geography.

The other option, is to go through each of the many, many files and see which I would like for this specific trip.

We are touring New England soon. In the UK we do not have WAAS/EGNOS enabled, for the states would it be better to have in on. We have a 670 and will be using it via the cig lighter connection so battery life should not be a problem.
