hello everyone,

Please can you help me, i ma trying to download the poi for NZ , where can i find the file to download.

please advise

I have a story that I would like to share about at least one person with the organization that is a real gentleman. When I decided to do the POI on Carlos O'Kellys I went to their web site to see if there was anything I could download to help me out.

Some of the POI files I uploaded indicated they were updated. It appears they were added to an additional grouping (Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts). Maybe this caused that indicator.

I don't care if they were updated, I just would like to know if there was something wrong with them so I don't keep doing something stupid.

POI Factory is getting a new, bigger server

Visitor traffic has grown a lot since November. And with continued growth, it won't be too long before our old setup runs out of steam.

This week, I'm busy preparing a new server that has roughly twice the capacity. If things go well, I expect to move POI Factory over to it by week's end.

I have added three new categories for POI Files this morning.

Golf Courses
Sports - Hunting/fishing
Attractions - Scenic drives

I have been moving some files around to the new areas. Please let me know if there is a file that I missed or if I misplaced one.

This is the place to talk about things that are not gps related, you can discuss whatever you would like, as long as it is clean. Remember we have families that have their children involved in the GPS fun and we don't want to make parents feel uncomfortable when their children ask what that word means.

I have the TomTom 920 as well as the Garmin Nuvi 680 and was just wondering if it was possible to convert the Europe map for the 920, to the Garmin 680.

I have just purchased my first GPS primarily for touring Canada and the US in our RV. I bought a Garmin Nuvi 670 and found it easy to use so far.

I started looking around for POI's and found this site so I joined in hopes of learning to find new and interesting places to visit.

I have looked and don't see any bank POI's, e.g., Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, etc., Am I over looking them, or, are they listed under another category?

When I go to "My Account" I have three tabs
VIEW EDIT TRACK

In the track I get to see all that I participate in.
Would it be possible to have a fourth Tab.
MY POIs

This could then track only the POIs that I submitted.
It would be easier to double check our files if we only saw them and not all the discussions as well.

Does anyone know how to get a photo that moves as your picture like the waving flag that I have seen or the insect that keeps going in a figure eight pattern? I especially like the one that is a still photo and then they all wave at you...like they came to life

Since I have my new PC I cant modify anymore the csv files that I download????
