My Zumo alerts to all the red light cams along my route regardless of whether or not I am navigating or viewing. It will also alert when it's displaying MP3, XM radio or one of the trip data screens. If I venture within the trigger distance, it squawks at me.

Questions on the sqwaking..

Is there some way to have the sqwaking stop after the first warning...or some way to acknowledge that yiu have heard th e alert and understand...or do you have to listen to it to whole time?

BTW My red light Alerts work even if I do not have a route programed.

Are you saying you're getting an alert for a speed camera POI, or getting an alert because you are speeding? Or is it both?

Mine works while in traffic mode too

I think it will go off regardless of the mode it is in. Mine was a little much too. Maybe someone will create a nice little mp3 file. The one I downloaded is a little obnoxious.

Any suggestions of a good I can find here?

I couldn't figure out why I sometimes got that screen. I never associated it with being at a non-map screen. Thanks.

For me if it would just let me acknowledge the alert and just let me go about my business...so in other words if the alert sounded and I was able to touch 'OK' then the subsequent alerts for that intersection/camera would be turned off...
