Speeders no longer getting 'cushion' of 5 mph

http://www.azcentral.com/business/consumer/articles/2010/03/...

The recession may be claiming a new victim: the 5-10-mph "cushion" police and state troopers across the USA have routinely given motorists exceeding the speed limit.

Best POI Brands?

Is there any brand that seems to have better POIs installed upon purchase?

So I've started to contribute to the conversations and noted that if I post a comment, I'm returned to the first post of the thread...

Why not to the end (and most recent post) of the thread so I can proof read my post and any subsequent or simultaneous posts?

Or is that an option in my account I haven't realized?

Thanx in advance

Icon's galore

Hi all, was wondering I used a GPS from a friend of mine after my GPS was stolen, I couldn't help but notice that his gps was loaded with icons showing what type of business or service was close to where the gps is / was located. When I got my new Garmin I wanted to see if it would do the same thing.. so I turned on maximum detail.. and there still seems to be no icons for business's and such..

Greater Edmonton Alberta Canada Area POI Updates...

As a new GPS enthusiast I have noticed a severe lack of POI's (especially Traffic Camera and Speed Trap related) for the greater Edmonton area.

Would anyone be interested in getting together to create a specific POI file for the area targeting Red Light & Intersection Speed Camera locations for the Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Ft Saskatchewan, St Albert, Camrose, Beaumont, Leduc Areas???

MP3 Books

I just found a wonderful site with tons of public domain books in MP3 format. LibriVox free audio books seems to have a massive selection. Hunting for your interests is likely best done by going to the genre classifications rather than a wide open browse.

Catalog Index/More Search Options/Choose by Genre/ presents a list of reading from Adventures to Westerns.

Where is the setting to subscribe to discussion threads???

Apparently this is not done automatically, but I'd like to be notified to new responses to a thread I have posted to but cannot find the setting or any info on this. It is not in the profile/account settings apparently. ...Thanks for your help.

GPS for farmers

On the History Channel they show tractors being guided by GPS. At the beginning and end of the first pass POIs are recorded. Then each subsequent pass is determined by the width of the implement. John Deere claims each pass is accurate to less than 2 inches. How does that work?
