thanks, i learnt some thing re 520 etc from various sites . im hoping to contribute in a small way as well as learn. im just a slow starter

I thought I'd make my introduction in this thread as well. I've been using a Garmin 855T for almost a year now, it's served me really well when driving in the LA area. I'm a big fan of electronics and tinkering with stuff, so I think I'll really like it here.
